Improved Cost Centre Summary Report Filtering for Multi-Paycycle Payroll
The Cost Center Summary Report now includes filtering by payrun cycle, helping ensure report data remains aligned with the correct payroll group for accounts that use multiple payrun cycles.
This ensures that reporting visibility remains aligned with assigned payroll responsibilities and prevents data from appearing outside of an administrator’s scope.

Direct Employee Profile Shortcut from Earnings & Deductions
Verifying employee details during payroll just got easier! A new View Profile shortcut is now available when selecting employees on the Earnings & Deductions page.
Once an employee is selected, a View Profile link appears that opens the employee’s profile in a new tab, allowing administrators to confirm important details without leaving their current payroll workflow.
This small improvement helps reduce entry errors and makes it easier to verify employee information during payroll processing.
💡| Tip: The View Profile link is dynamic. If you change the selected employee when adding an entry, the link will automatically update!

Direct Employee Profile Shortcut from the Off-Cycle Payroll Page
Running off-cycle payroll just got easier to verify! The Off-Run payroll page has also been updated so administrators can quickly confirm they are selecting the correct employee, without interrupting their workflow.
When adding employees to an Off-Run, each employee listed now includes a direct link to their employee profile. Selecting the link opens the profile in a separate tab, allowing you to review key details fast, avoiding confusion between employees with similar names and reducing the risk of payroll errors.
Download Pay Stubs Directly from the Push Employee App
Accessing payroll documents on the go just got easier. Employees can now download official pay stubs directly from the Push Employee app.
Employees will see a pop-up notification the first time they log in after this release, introducing the new download option.
When viewing a pay stub in the mobile app, employees will see a clear Download option. Allowing them to generate a secure PDF copy whenever they need it, perfect for financial verification, applications, or personal records.
This enhancement improves mobile payroll self-service and helps reduce routine documentation requests to HR or payroll teams.
📌 | Note: Only active employees can download pay stubs from the mobile app. Inactive employees can still view pay stubs in the mobile app, but must download them from the web app (desktop) if needed.
Employees will now have two options for downloading pay stubs: desktop or mobile app.
Employee Paperless W-2 Delivery Option
US employees can now opt in to paperless W-2 delivery directly through the Push Employee app.
Previously, W-2 forms were automatically provided in both paper and digital formats. With this update, employees can choose to go paperless, meaning they’ll only receive their W-2s electronically instead of an additional physical copy being mailed.
Employees will see a pop-up notification the first time they log in, offering the option to opt in to paperless delivery.
Their preferences can also be updated at any time under Settings > Notifications > W2 Paperless. This enhancement gives employees greater control over how they receive their tax documents while helping businesses streamline year-end tax distribution.
Mandating the Minimum Wage Field for Employee Positions
To continue supporting evolving payroll compliance requirements, the Minimum Wage field is now required when setting up Employee Positions for U.S. payroll accounts.
When running payroll, the system will now verify that each employee position has a minimum wage selected. If a position is missing this information, payroll processing will pause and prompt administrators to update the position before continuing.
This enhancement helps ensure payroll configurations include the correct wage references required for certain calculations, while reducing the risk of incomplete setup interrupting payroll processing.
📌 Note: U.S. payroll customers may have seen an in-app notification in late February announcing this upcoming change ahead of its March release.
OBBBA Support Added to Help You Stay Compliant
To support the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA), the platform now helps identify employee positions that may include qualified tips or overtime—making it easier to track and report eligible earnings without changing how payroll is processed.
Admins can assign a TTOC Code (or mark 'No TTOC Code Required') to each position, allowing the system to support OBBBA reporting automatically.
If any positions are missing a code, a reminder appears on the Run Payroll page with direct links to review and update setup details. Payroll can still be run as usual.
For the 2025 tax year, eligible employees will receive a separate OBBBA tax document uploaded to their account to support filing their personal tax returns. In future tax years, this information is expected to be incorporated directly into the employee’s W-2, in line with finalized reporting requirements. Employer payroll calculations and tax withholding remain unchanged.
Team Administrators Can Now Access the E/D Uploader
Team Administrators can now be granted access to the Earnings and Deductions (E/D) Uploader, making it faster and easier to manage payroll data. Instead of entering earnings and deductions one by one, teams can work from a spreadsheet and upload multiple entries at once—saving time and simplifying payroll preparation.
This permission is available under Administrator Settings. Check the box for E/D Uploader when assigning admin access.
Depending on permissions, the E/D Uploader may appear under the Payroll tab or within Company Setup.
📌 Note: The E/D Uploader permission allows Team Administrators to create and upload earnings and deductions via spreadsheet only. It does not grant access to the main Earnings and Deductions page or allow edits after upload. To modify entries after they’re created, additional Set Up Earnings and Deductions permissions are required.
⚠️ | Warning: Granting access to the E/D Uploader allows Team Administrators to select any earning or deduction preset and include all available employees, departments, and positions when creating and uploading a spreadsheet for payroll. This access is broader than the standard Earnings and Deductions permission, which can be restricted to specific presets (for example, Retroactive Pay only). Review permissions carefully before enabling this access.
More Granular Run Payroll Permissions for Multi-Paycycle Accounts
For accounts using multi-payrun cycles, the Run Payroll permission for Team Administrators has been enhanced. You can now grant or restrict payroll access by individual payrun cycle, giving you more control over who can run payroll for specific parts of your business.
When assigning this permission, you’ll see the names of each payrun cycle based on how your account is set up, such as by location or pay frequency. This makes it easier to tailor access to only the payroll cycles each administrator should manage.
📌 | Note: Multi-payrun cycle is available by request. If you’re interested in enabling this feature or want to learn more, don't hesitate to get in touch with our Support Team at support@pushoperations.com, and they can assist with the next steps.
Improved E/D Report Filtering for Multi-Paycycle Payroll
The Earnings and Deductions (E/D) report now filters results more accurately for accounts using multi-payrun cycles. When reviewing a report, earnings and deductions will only appear for the selected payrun cycle—helping keep payroll data clear, relevant, and aligned to the correct payroll layer.
With this update, Super Administrators can continue to view E/Ds across all payrun cycles by selecting All, or use the new filtering options to focus on a specific cycle when reviewing upcoming payroll activity. Team Administrators will only be able to generate their report for the payrun cycles they have permission to access.
This ensures that reporting visibility remains aligned with assigned payroll responsibilities and prevents data from appearing outside of an administrator’s scope.
Track Contractor's Business Number Type Directly in the Platform
You can now store additional tax details directly on contractor employee profiles, including the specific business number or identifier type required for accurate year-end reporting. This helps ensure T4A and 1099 forms are generated with the correct information—reducing back-and-forth, avoiding potential amendments, and helping you stay prepared ahead of tax season.
For Canadian contractors, administrators can enter Social Insurance Numbers (SINs) or Recipient’s Program Account Numbers (PANs), along with a new Earning Category field, to ensure the correct earning code is applied on the tax form.
For U.S. contractors, administrators can store required identifiers, such as SSN, ITIN, ATIN, or EIN, directly in the profile.
Previously, this information wasn’t tracked in the platform and often required follow-up during year end. Capturing these details upfront helps reduce back-and-forth and keeps record keeping and reporting aligned.
📌 | Note: These contractor tax details are not currently available to be collected through digital onboarding. If you need to gather this information upfront, we recommend using Employee Attributes to collect it from your contractors, then entering the details under the Tax Information section of their profile.
Track Indian Act Employment (IAE) Eligibility Directly in the Platform
You can now track employees who qualify for Indian Act Employment, typically those whose employment income is exempt from tax because their work is performed on reserve land. Eligible income will be correctly reported on Box 71 of the T4.
Previously, this information wasn’t tracked in the platform, and our accounting team needed to contact you for confirmation during year-end. Admins can now mark eligible employees directly in their profiles by enabling the toggle Registered under the Indian Act under Tax Information. Once completed, any qualifying earnings will be automatically mapped to Box 71 for accurate reporting.
📌 | Note: This option is not enabled by default. If your organization needs to track Indian Act Employment eligibility, please contact our Support Team at support@pushoperations.com, and they can enable access in your account.
New Filter Options under Employee T4 Info Update Page
Reviewing and assigning T4 dental insurance information just got faster. The Employee T4 Info Update page now includes new filters for Employee Status (Active, Pending, Inactive, On Leave) and Payment Frequency (Hourly and Salary), making it easier to narrow your list and mass-assign Box 45 answers during year-end.
With new filters for status and pay type, it’s now much easier to narrow your list to the right employees. Whether you’re reviewing active staff, hourly workers, or anyone in between, these options speed up Box 45 assignments and save time during year end.
📌| Note: These options are available to Super Administrators and Team Administrators with permission to run payroll.
New Paystub Setting to Show Total Hours Worked
To help your US business stay compliant with local labour laws, paystubs now display the total number of hours actually worked by each employee, separate from any vacation, sick time, or holiday pay. This summary appears in the Other Details section on the bottom left of the paystub and helps ensure clarity for your team.
This setting is controlled by a new toggle under Paystub Settings called Show Hours Worked Summary (U.S. only)
New Option to Use Self-Created Files for the E/D Uploader
Managing earnings and deductions in bulk just got more flexible. You can now use your own self-created file in the E/D Uploader instead of only using the spreadsheet generated by the platform.
This option is ideal for teams who want to reuse a template across pay periods—saving time and reducing repetitive setup. Just make sure your file follows the platform’s structure to ensure a smooth upload.
💡 | Tip: For your first self-created file, we recommend downloading one directly from the platform to follow a similar format.
New "Created Time" Column under Earnings and Deductions List
Tracking payroll entries just got easier. A new Created Time column now appears in the Earnings and Deductions list, showing when each entry was added to the platform.
This visibility applies to both entries uploaded in bulk through the E/D Uploader and those created manually within the Earnings and Deductions page.
Previously, users needed to open each entry and view its history under the book icon to see when it was created. Now, you can quickly check creation times at a glance—making reviews and audits faster and more efficient.
New Overtime Calculation Setting - New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador Only
The Hour Structure has been updated for our New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador users to offer more flexibility in how 1.5x overtime pay is calculated.
Admins can now choose whether the 1.5x rate is based on the province’s minimum wage or the employee’s assigned position wage. By default, the system will continue using the minimum wage, but this new setting gives businesses more control over how overtime pay is applied—while still following provincial labour standards.
📌 | Note: Want to review the provincial rules? New Brunswick Overtime Standards or Newfoundland & Labrador Overtime Rules.
New Option to Add a Start Date for Recurring Earnings & Deductions
Planning ahead just got easier! In addition to setting an End Date, users can now also set a Start Date for recurring earnings, deductions, or benefits. Allowing you to select the specific future pay period when the entry should begin.
No need to wait until the last minute to add entries like post-probation raises or benefit deductions. Set it once, and payroll will automatically apply it at the right time, ensuring accuracy and reducing manual work. You’ll also have a clear audit trail of when entries start and stop.
New Option of Bulk Deletion for Earnings & Deductions
Managing earnings and deductions just got easier! Administrators can now bulk delete entries, saving time and simplifying payroll management.
To make bulk deletions even more efficient, users can use the search bar and adjust the number of entries displayed per page to quickly find and remove multiple records as needed.
Employee Navigator (Employee Benefits Integration)
📌 | Note: Available to U.S. businesses only with the Payroll Plus Add-On. Employee Navigator enrollment is required and must be set up through an insurance broker.
Managing employee benefits just got a whole lot easier! The new Employee Navigator Integration ensures real-time syncing between Employee Navigator and our payroll feature, eliminating the need for manual updates across platforms.
Employee details—like name, address, compensation, and contact info—automatically sync to Employee Navigator, while changes to benefit enrollments (such as health, dental, or vision coverage) flow back into payroll to update deductions instantly.
This integration reduces admin work, improves accuracy, and keeps benefits and payroll perfectly aligned—without the double data entry.

SmartPay (Workers Compensation Integration)
📌 | Note: Available to U.S. businesses only with the Payroll Plus Add-On. Employee Navigator enrollment is required and must be set up through an insurance broker.
The new SmartPay Integration makes managing workers’ compensation easier than ever. Payroll data is automatically synced with SmartPay to calculate and pay premiums—no more manual tracking or separate reporting.
SmartPay calculates premium amounts using employee wage and position data, withdraws the correct payment from your account, and sends it directly to your workers’ comp provider. Plus, with pay-as-you-go billing, premiums are paid in smaller, accurate amounts each payroll cycle instead of one large lump sum.
This integration helps businesses stay compliant while saving time and reducing costly errors.

Leading Retirement Solutions LRS (401k Integration)
📌 | Note: Available to U.S. businesses only with the Payroll Plus Add-On. Must be enrolled with Leading Retirement Solutions (LRS) as your 401(k) provider.
Managing 401(k) contributions just got a whole lot easier. The new LRS 401(k) Integration gives employees full control over their retirement contributions while automating payroll deductions and payouts behind the scenes.
When employees update their 401(k) contributions in LRS, the changes automatically sync to payroll—no manual entry required. After payroll is processed, contribution payments are sent directly to LRS, removing the need for HR to handle reports or process payments manually.
This seamless integration reduces administrative work, minimizes errors, and helps ensure compliance with 401(k) reporting requirements.
