New Option to Generate Schedule Presets from Past Shifts
Scheduling just got smarter! You can now automatically generate Schedule Presets based on historical shift patterns, helping teams use real scheduling data to build future schedules more efficiently.
A new Generate Schedule Presets option in the Scheduler analyzes previously published shifts (House Shifts are not included), and you can choose which positions to analyze. Any presets created automatically will be clearly labelled “Auto-Generated”, making them easy to distinguish from presets created manually.
📌 | Note: Presets are generated using the last 8 weeks of published shift data, and a pattern must appear at least three times before a preset is created. These presets can then be used with regular scheduling workflows, templates, or the Auto Scheduler to help automate future schedules.
💡| Tip: If you do not like the auto-generated presets, quickly remove them using the bulk deletion option on the Schedule Presets page. The system will also not create duplicate presets if one with the same position, time, and days already exists.
New Option to Bulk Delete Schedule Presets
Managing Schedule Presets just got easier! You can now select and delete multiple presets at once directly from the page.
Previously, presets needed to be removed one at a time. With this update, you can quickly select several presets or all on the page, and delete them in a single action. This makes it faster to clean up unused presets and keep your scheduling setup organized.
This enhancement helps teams maintain a streamlined list of presets, making it easier to find and use the ones that matter most when building schedules.
Employee Mobile Calendar Support for Multiple Locations
We’ve improved the Push Employee app experience so that employees who work across multiple locations or employers can now view all their upcoming shifts in a single unified calendar.
Previously, employees needed to switch between profiles to check schedules for different locations or businesses. With our new update, this helps reduce scheduling confusion, missed shifts, and uncertainty about where someone is scheduled.
Employees will see a pop-up notification the first time they log in after this release, introducing the new unified calendar experience.
Each shift will include a location pin and a location name, making it easy to quickly identify the shift's location.
Create Calendar Events Right From the Weekly Scheduler
Planning just got easier. You can now create and edit Calendar Events directly from the Weekly Scheduler—no need to switch tabs.
Hover over the Events row in the scheduler and click the plus icon to open the event creation window. Add your event details, hit save, and you’re done—all without leaving the page.
Need to make a change? Hover over an existing event and click the pencil icon—just like editing a shift. You’ll be able to review and update the details instantly.
📌 | Note: Drag-and-drop for events isn’t available at this time—but let us know if that’s something you’d like to see via Roadmap & Ideas.
Enhancement to Calendar Events Page
We’ve also updated the Calendar Events setup page for a more modern, streamlined experience. The new layout replaces the old tabular design with a clean, intuitive format that’s easier to navigate.
Admins can still manage events from this main page—so whether you’re building from the scheduler or from the dedicated setup screen, both workflows are now faster and more user-friendly.
Clear Option for Filtering Positions, Shift Tags, & Revenue Center
Clearing filters in the Scheduler just got faster. We’ve added a new Clear button to the Positions, Shift Tags, and Revenue Center fields—so you can reset filters with a single click instead of removing each item one by one.
This small but impactful update saves time for schedule makers managing multiple filters and helps streamline day-to-day navigation. We’ve also updated the visual style of the Clear action to make it easier to spot and use.
Update to Dragging and Dropping Shifts
Drag-and-drop just got smoother in the Scheduler. We’ve expanded the hitbox for shift placement, so you no longer need to aim precisely when moving shifts between cells.
When you drag a shift, you can drop it anywhere within the targeted box to complete the action; you'll see it highlighted in grey. This minor adjustment makes the interaction more forgiving, especially for teams managing schedules quickly.
Schedule Templates
Did you know you can now save and reuse schedules with Schedule Templates? Instead of building schedules from scratch every week, administrators can instantly turn an existing schedule into a template and apply it whenever needed.
Templates automatically include key shift details, making it easier than ever to maintain consistency and speed up scheduling. You even have the option to customize if the shifts will remain assigned to employees and if you want shift comments included. With just a few clicks, schedules are ready to go—saving time and reducing manual work.
Manage Weekly Availability Requests From The Push Manager App
Staying on top of weekly availability requests just got easier! Managers now have two ways to review and approve weekly availability requests—through the web app or directly in the Manager App.
The new Availability Requests tab provides key details like employee name, requested changes, workday limits, max weekly hours, availability breakdown, submission timestamps, and employee notes—all in one place.
