How To Delete Earnings/Deductions Entries

Process

You can delete a single or multiple earnings/deductions entries by locating them using the Select Employee option or the Search/Filter functions. Follow the steps below based on your preferred method.

  1. Click on the Payroll tab.
  2.  In the left-hand navigation bar, select Earnings/Deductions.
  3. Scroll to the All Earnings/Deductions section.
  4. Locate the entries using one of the following methods:
    1. Specific Employee: Click Select Employee, search for the employee’s name, and select it. Then, click Employee Search to load their earnings/deductions.
    2. Search/Filter: Use the search bar or filters to locate the entry directly.
    3. Adjust Entries Displayed: Click the drop-down menu that states “20 entries” and adjust the number of entries listed on the page (e.g., 50 entries) if needed.
  5. Delete a single entry: Click the Garbage Can icon next to the entry you wish to delete.
    1. Skip to step 7
  6.  Delete multiple entries:
    1. To delete all entries on the page, click the checkbox for Select All—this will automatically select all visible entries.
    2. To delete specific entries, check the boxes for the ones you wish to remove.
    3. Review your selection and uncheck any entries you do not want to delete.
    4. Click Delete Selected at the bottom of the page.
  7. In the pop-up, click Yes, do it! to confirm or Cancel to stop the action.

 

Additional Information

It’s important to note that an Earnings/Deductions entry can only be deleted before the Payrun has been processed. If the Payrun is pending approval, you will first need to delete the Payrun before deleting the Earnings/Deductions entry. If the Payrun has already been approved, you will no longer be able to delete the Earnings/Deductions entry and will have to contact our Support Team for further assistance.
