Payroll
More Granular Earnings & Deductions Report Permissions
Subscription: Payroll Add-On
Administrators now have more control over what Team Administrators can view in the Earnings & Deductions Report.
Previously, granting access to the report allowed Team Administrators to view all earnings and deduction presets. With this update, administrators can choose exactly which presets each Team Administrator can see in this report, providing greater control over payroll reporting visibility.
💡 | Managing multiple administrators? Check out our Administrator Roles feature to create a reusable set of permissions that can be assigned to multiple team administrators, making access easier to manage and keep consistent.

Automatic 401(k) Catch-Up Contribution Tracking
Subscription: Payroll Add-On (U.S. only)
We now automatically track employees who become eligible for 401(k) catch-up contributions, helping payroll teams stay aligned with IRS contribution rules for eligible employees based on the age they are turning in the tax year.
When an eligible employee approaches the standard annual 401(k) contribution limit, they’ll receive an email explaining their catch-up contribution eligibility. If the employee chooses not to participate, an administrator can opt them out using the new Employee Retirement Plan Preferences section in their employee profile.
This helps reduce manual tracking while ensuring eligible employees are notified at the appropriate time and payroll administrators have a simple way to manage participation preferences.
💡 | Tip: Eligibility is determined automatically using the employee’s date of birth on file. Be sure employee birthdates are up to date to ensure eligible employees are identified correctly.
Check out our dedicated article on 401(k) Catch-Up Contributions to learn how eligibility is determined and how catch-up contributions are managed in the platform.
New York Spread of Hours Support for Non-Hospitality Businesses
Subscription: Payroll Add-On (KayaPush New York Customers only)
We now support both Hospitality and Miscellaneous Industry wage orders when calculating the New York Spread of Hours, allowing businesses to use the calculation that best matches their industry.
Previously, businesses that did not use the Hospitality calculation were required to manually track and calculate Spread of Hours premiums. With this update, eligible businesses can now be configured to use the Miscellaneous Industry calculation, allowing payroll to automatically calculate the appropriate premium.
💡| Want to learn more? Check out our dedicated article on New York Spread of Hours to understand how each industry calculation works and when the Miscellaneous Industry option applies.
Logbook
Filter Logbook by Location
Subscription: Signature or Supreme (Layered-Location Accounts only)
Managing your Logbook across multiple locations is now easier. Layered Location accounts can now filter the Logbook by location, making it simple to view and create notes for a specific location.
Previously, Logbook entries and summaries displayed combined information across all locations. With this update, you can filter to one or more locations, helping reduce clutter and making it easier to focus on the information most relevant to your team.
To learn more about our Logbook feature, check out our dedicated section in our Help Centre.
Assign Logbook Permissions by Location
Subscription: Signature or Supreme only (Layered-Location Accounts only)
Administrators now have greater control over Logbook access for Team Administrators in Layered Location accounts.
Previously, Team Administrators with Logbook access could view notes and summaries for every location in the account. With this update, Logbook permissions can be assigned by location, helping ensure that administrators have access only to the locations they manage.
💡 | Tip: Use Administrator Roles to create reusable permission sets that can be assigned to multiple administrators, helping keep access consistent across your organization.

Scheduler
Auto-Generate Labour Guides Using Historical Data
Subscription: Supreme Plan to access Auto-Scheduling
Building data-driven labour guides just got easier. You can now automatically generate Labour Guide values using your organization’s historical sales and scheduling data, giving you a smarter starting point for Auto Scheduling.
Instead of manually estimating staffing targets for each position, the generator analyzes your historical sales and scheduled shifts to recommend labour guide values based on how your business has actually operated.
This helps reduce manual setup, removes guesswork, and creates more accurate staffing recommendations while still allowing you to review and adjust all generated values before saving.
📌 | Note: A minimum of 8 weeks of historical sales and scheduled shift data is required to generate labour guides. If sufficient history isn’t available, the generator won’t be able to create recommendations.
Want to learn more about our scheduling features? Check out our dedicated section in the Help Centre.
BI Insights
New Engagement Survey Dashboard
Subscription: Supreme with the BI Insights Add-On + Engagement Add-On
A new Engagement Survey Dashboard is now available in BI Insights, giving teams a centralized view of survey participation, engagement trends, and survey results, making it easier to analyze feedback across your organization.
Built-in filtering and reporting tools allow you to explore survey data from different perspectives, helping you identify participation trends and better understand employee feedback over time.

Applicant Tracking
Flag Employees as Ineligible for Rehire
Subscriptions: HR Add-On
Administrators can now mark terminated employees as Ineligible for Rehire during deactivation. If that individual reapplies in the future using the same contact information (e.g. email), an Ineligible for Rehire indicator will appear on the Candidate Dashboard and Candidate profile, helping hiring teams quickly identify flagged applicants before continuing the hiring process.
This gives hiring teams additional context during candidate screening while leaving the final hiring decision in their hands. The Ineligible for Rehire flag is informational only and does not include the reason for the designation or automatically prevent candidates from moving through the hiring process.
💡| Tip: The Employee Information Report and the Enterprise Employee Information Report include a new Ineligible for Rehire filter option, making it easy to identify employees who have been flagged across your organization.
📌 Note: If you do not currently have the HR Add-On and would like to learn more, reach out to our Support Team, and they’ll connect you with the right person.
Create Unique ATS Branding for Each Location
Subscription: HR Add-On (Layered-Location accounts only)
Multi-location businesses with Layered Locations can now create and manage location-specific ATS branding, allowing each location to showcase its own logo, colours, cover photo, and company description.
Previously, all locations shared the same ATS branding, regardless of where a candidate was applying. With this update, each location can maintain its own identity, and candidates will automatically see the correct branding when browsing jobs or submitting an application.
💡| Tip: You can continue using a single default brand for all locations, or create location-specific branding for one or several locations.
📌 | Note: This feature is being released gradually and may not yet be available in all accounts. If you’d like early access, please contact our Support Team.

Employee Engagement
Auto-Translate Engagement Surveys
Subscriptions: Supreme with the Engagement Add-On
Engagement Surveys now support bilingual survey questions in French and Spanish, helping make surveys more accessible for multilingual workforces.
When creating a survey, you can enable translations so employees see each question in both English and the selected language. This helps improve the survey experience while allowing all employees to respond using the same survey.
💡 Tip: Bilingual support displays both the English and translated question together, helping employees reference either language while completing the survey.

Administrator Management
Save Permission Changes Faster
Subscriptions: All Plans
Saving permission changes is now more convenient. A new Save/Update button has been added to the top of the Administrator and Administrator Role permissions pages, making it easy to save changes without scrolling back to the bottom.
As you move up and down the permissions page, the Save/Update button remains visible, enabling users to review, update, and save permission changes more efficiently.
💡 | Managing multiple administrators? Check out our Administrator Roles feature to create a reusable set of permissions that can be assigned to multiple team administrators, making access easier to manage and keep consistent.
Filter Permissions by Location
Subscription: All Plans (Layered-Location Accounts only)
Managing permissions across multiple locations is now easier. Layered Location accounts now include a Filter Locations dropdown on the Administrator and Administrator Role permissions pages.
Instead of displaying positions and groups from every location at once, administrators can filter the page to one or more specific locations. This reduces on-screen clutter and makes it easier to configure permissions for large organizations.
