New History of Changes for Payroll

Subscriptions: Payroll Add-On

Tracking payroll activity just got more transparent! The Payroll History page now includes a record of who performed key payroll actions, giving teams greater visibility into important payroll changes.

You can now review who ran, approved, unapproved, reversed, or deleted a payrun directly from the Payroll History page, along with the associated payrun date and details.

This improvement helps teams better track payroll activity, improve accountability, and quickly answer questions about historical payroll actions without needing additional investigation.

📌 | Note: Payroll action history will only be available for actions performed after May 19, 2026, at 12:30 PM PST and is not retroactive for historical payroll activity prior to this date.

Request New Earnings & Deductions Presets from Your Account

Subscriptions: Payroll Add-On

Requesting a new payroll preset just got easier! The Add/Edit Presets link on the Earnings & Deductions page now supports both Canadian and U.S. payroll customers, directing each region to the appropriate request form.

Previously, this workflow was only available to Canadian customers. With this update, U.S. customers can now access a dedicated request form that collects the information needed to create or update payroll presets.

This helps ensure requests include the required details upfront, reducing follow-up questions and helping our Accounting team review requests more efficiently before following up via email with next steps or confirmation once the preset has been created.

Reports

Improved Primary Position Accuracy in the Enterprise Employee Information Report

Subscriptions: Supreme

The Enterprise Employee Information Report now displays a more accurate Primary Position for employees with multiple active positions.

Previously, if an employee did not have a preferred position assigned, the report would default to showing their oldest active position, which could surface outdated or no longer relevant roles. Now, the report will display the employee’s most recently added active position instead.

This improvement helps ensure reporting better reflects an employee’s current role and reduces confusion when reviewing workforce data across locations and positions.

💡 | Tip: Want more control over which role appears as an employee’s Primary Position? You can assign a preferred position directly within the employee profile. Learn how to here
