Payroll
OBBBA Support Added to Help You Stay Compliant
Subscription: Payroll Add-On (US only)
To support the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA), the platform now helps identify employee positions that may include qualified tips or overtime—making it easier to track and report eligible earnings without changing how payroll is processed.
Admins can assign a TTOC Code (or mark 'No TTOC Code Required') to each position, allowing the system to support OBBBA reporting automatically.
If any positions are missing a code, a reminder appears on the Run Payroll page with direct links to review and update setup details. Payroll can still be run as usual.
For the 2025 tax year, eligible employees will receive a separate OBBBA tax document uploaded to their account to support filing their personal tax returns. In future tax years, this information is expected to be incorporated directly into the employee’s W-2, in line with finalized reporting requirements. Employer payroll calculations and tax withholding remain unchanged.

Team Administrators Can Now Access the E/D Uploader
Subscription: Payroll Add-On
Team Administrators can now be granted access to the Earnings and Deductions (E/D) Uploader, making it faster and easier to manage payroll data. Instead of entering earnings and deductions one by one, teams can work from a spreadsheet and upload multiple entries at once—saving time and simplifying payroll preparation.
This permission is available under Administrator Settings. Check the box for E/D Uploader when assigning admin access.
Depending on permissions, the E/D Uploader may appear under the Payroll tab or within Company Setup.
📌 Note: The E/D Uploader permission allows Team Administrators to create and upload earnings and deductions via spreadsheet only. It does not grant access to the main Earnings and Deductions page or allow edits after upload. To modify entries after they’re created, additional Set Up Earnings and Deductions permissions are required.
⚠️ | Warning: Granting access to the E/D Uploader allows Team Administrators to select any earning or deduction preset and include all available employees, departments, and positions when creating and uploading a spreadsheet for payroll. This access is broader than the standard Earnings and Deductions permission, which can be restricted to specific presets (for example, Retroactive Pay only). Review permissions carefully before enabling this access.

More Granular Run Payroll Permissions for Multi-Paycycle Accounts
Subscription: Payroll Add-On (Requires the Multi-Payrun Cycle Feature)
For accounts using multi-payrun cycles, the Run Payroll permission for Team Administrators has been enhanced. You can now grant or restrict payroll access by individual payrun cycle, giving you more control over who can run payroll for specific parts of your business.
When assigning this permission, you’ll see the names of each payrun cycle based on how your account is set up, such as by location or pay frequency. This makes it easier to tailor access to only the payroll cycles each administrator should manage.
📌 | Note: Multi-payrun cycle is available by request. If you’re interested in enabling this feature or want to learn more, don't hesitate to get in touch with our Support Team at support@pushoperations.com, and they can assist with the next steps.
Improved E/D Report Filtering for Multi-Paycycle Payroll
Subscription: Payroll Add-On (Requires the Multi-Payrun Cycle Feature)
The Earnings and Deductions (E/D) report now filters results more accurately for accounts using multi-payrun cycles. When reviewing a report, earnings and deductions will only appear for the selected payrun cycle—helping keep payroll data clear, relevant, and aligned to the correct payroll layer.
With this update, Super Administrators can continue to view E/Ds across all payrun cycles by selecting All, or use the new filtering options to focus on a specific cycle when reviewing upcoming payroll activity. Team Administrators will only be able to generate their report for the payrun cycles they have permission to access.
This ensures that reporting visibility remains aligned with assigned payroll responsibilities and prevents data from appearing outside of an administrator’s scope.
BI Insights
New Leave Management Dashboard
Subscription: Supreme with BI Insights Add-On
Understanding time off across your team just got easier. A new Leave Management dashboard is now available in BI Insights, giving you a clear, visual snapshot of leave balances and usage—all in one place.
Instead of checking individual employee profiles or running multiple reports, you can now view how time off is being used across your organization and spot patterns that impact scheduling and coverage.
This dashboard highlights insights such as:
• Current leave balances by employee and by policy
• Total time off used by employee
• Employees with the highest and lowest remaining balances
• Time-off request volume by calendar day to identify trends
• Upcoming approved time off over the next 90 days
Not sure where to start? This prebuilt dashboard is ready to use out of the box and can be customized alongside your other BI Insights dashboards to fit your reporting needs.
📌 | Note: The Leave Management dashboard is available only to Super Administrators with access to BI Insights.

Leave Management
Leave Balances Now Reset in Real Time
Subscription: Supreme or Signature with Leave Management Add-On (Both require the Payroll Add-On)
Leave Management just got easier to trust. Time-off balances now reset automatically on the policy’s reset date, without waiting for payroll to be processed.
Previously, balances tied to a reset wouldn’t update until a payroll that included the reset date was run. For example, if a policy reset on January 1 but payroll wasn’t processed until January 10, employees could appear to have no available time off during that gap.
With this enhancement, leave balances reset exactly when the policy resets, making time off available sooner and removing uncertainty around when balances should update.
📌 Note: Real-time leave balance resets are currently available only for accounts using a single payrun cycle. Accounts with multiple payrun cycles will continue to follow the existing workflow, where balances reset after payroll is processed.
📌 Note: Employee paystubs and payroll reports continue to reflect balances as of the most recently processed payrun.
Real-Time Balance Updates When Time Off Is Requested
Subscription: Supreme or Signature with Leave Management Add-On (Both require the Payroll Add-On)
Real-time balances don’t stop at resets. When employees submit time-off requests, balances are now updated immediately to reflect the requested changes.
For example, if an employee has 3 days available and submits a request for 1 day, their balance will automatically adjust to show 2 days available, with 1 day pending approval.
Once the request is approved, the balance remains at 2 days available, and the pending amount is cleared, making it easy to see what time off is still available for future requests at a glance.
Employees and administrators see the same real-time balances across web and mobile, making it easy to understand exactly how much time off is available, pending, or already approved at any moment.
📌 Note: Employee paystubs and payroll reports continue to reflect balances as of the most recently processed payrun.
New Option to Prevent Negative Leave Balances From Carrying Over
Subscription: Supreme or Signature with Leave Management Add-On (Both require the Payroll Add-On)
You now have the option to prevent negative time-off balances from carrying over when a leave policy resets. This allows teams that prefer a clean slate at the start of a new policy period to reset balances without carrying forward any negative amounts.
This setting is available when creating or editing a leave policy through the Negative Balance Do Not Carry Forward toggle and is turned off by default. If enabled, a warning will appear to clarify that this approach isn’t typically recommended, as any negative balance will be cleared at reset, and employees won’t be required to accrue back the time they previously took in advance.

Employee Management
Duplicate SIN/SSN Now Allowed for Contractor and Employee Profiles
Push Subscription: All Plans (T4A and 1099-NEC Filing by Push requires the Payroll Add-On)
You can now use the same SIN or SSN across two profiles when one is set up as a contractor and the other as an employee. This supports accurate tracking when a team member changes employment status mid-year and helps ensure the correct tax forms, such as T4s, T4As, W-2s, or 1099s, are issued based on the time worked under each employment type.
The platform continues to prevent duplicate SIN or SSN values when both profiles share the same employment status, protecting against reporting and payroll errors.
📌 | Note: When updating an existing employee’s employment status, you’ll see a red banner message recommending that a new profile be created instead. This helps maintain accurate records and ensures employment history and tax reporting remain properly separated.
