How To Edit An Earnings/Deductions Entry

Goal

  • How to update a manually added earnings a deduction entry

Environment:

  • Push Web App

Process:

    1. Click on the Payroll tab 
    2. On the left hand navigation bar, click Earnings/Deductions
    3. Scroll to the All Earnings/Deductions section
    4. On the right, click Select Employee 
    5. In the drop down menu, input the name of the employee under Search and click the Name of the employee 
    6. Once done, click Employee Search
    7. Under Edit, click the Pencil icon that corresponds with the Earnings/Deductions entry
    8. Under Hours, click the box and update the total hours 
    9. Under Amount, click the box and update the total dollar amount
    10. Once done, click the Checkmark icon

Additional Information

It’s important to note that an Earnings/Deductions entry can only be deleted before the Payrun has been processed. If the Payrun is pending approval, you will first need to delete the Payrun before deleting the Earnings/Deductions entry. If the Payrun has already been approved, you will no longer be able to delete the Earnings/Deductions entry and will have to contact our Support Team for further assistance.
