Question
- There is no option for me to input hours under Timesheets for Statutory Holiday
- I have employees who worked on a Stat Holiday, but I am unable to input this under Timesheets
Environment:
- Push Web App
Answer
If Statutory Holiday Settings is enabled to recognize a holiday and the calculation method is set to Automatic, users can enter their hours to Timesheets under Regular (View Clock Times). This will generate the hours on the Statutory Holiday Report and automatically create the earnings to be paid out on the relevant payroll.
If Statutory Holiday Settings is enabled to recognize a holiday but the calculation method is set to Manual, you will be required to input the pay owed to employees under Earnings and Deductions. The system will not generate the hours on the Statutory Holiday Report or create the earnings to be paid out automatically on the specific payroll.
Additional Information
We recommend reviewing each of your payrolls to ensure that employees earnings are correct. If you notice that Statutory Holiday Pay or Statutory Holiday Pay is not available, please review the Statutory Holiday Settings. Simply update the relevant information and re-run your payroll to update these changes.
If you notice Stat Pay is missing after payroll has been processed and the payday has not passed, please contact the Push Support Team to review if the payroll can be unapproved. If the payday has already passed, we recommend processing an Off Run or waiting for the next pay period to add the pay owed.
Note that changes to Timesheets can only be used by users if employees in the account are not clocking in and out through one of our apps (Push Time or Push Employee apps).
Please note that only Super Administrators have the ability to make changes to Statutory Holidays. n
Super and Team Administrators with permission to update Timesheets will be able to make changes under Timesheets.
