Question
- If I set the Overtime alarm to notify me after 8 hours of work, does it take into consideration the system automatically deducting a break time that was set under Clock Settings?
Environment:
- Push Web App
Answer
Currently, the Overtime Alarm does not consider the hours automatically deducted from Breaks.
For example, if you want to be notified when an employee has worked over 10 hours and you have an auto-break deduction of 30 mins after 5 hours, you would set the Employee Work Hours Elapsed Field to 10.
Additional Information
Automatically Deduct Breaks is part of Clock Settings. Employees clock entries will automatically deducts a break time that is designated (i.e. deduct 30 minutes for more than 5 hours of work)
Please note, that only Super Administrators and Team Administrators with permissions to Setup Alarms have the ability to setup Alarms.
