Why am I getting A "Name Already Exists" Error When Adding A New Administrator Role?

Question

  • Does Push have a list of existing Administrator Roles?

Environment:

  • Push Web App

Answer

If you are receiving this error, it is due to the same name that you are trying to use on the new Administrator Role, is already associated with an existing Administrator Role.

If you can't find the specific Role under Administrator Roles, please check under Deactivated Roles.

Additional Information

If you do not want to reactivate the inactive Administrator Role, we recommend editing the name of the Role to something else in order for you to create a new Administrator Role with the same name.

Please note that only Super Administrators have access to the full list of Active and Inactive Administrator Roles. 

The Administrator Roles feature is currently available on the Premium Subscription.
