Question
- Why would I create a Role?
- Why is there a Role column under Administrators?
Environment:
- Push Web App
Answer
Administrator Roles allows you to create a template of an Administrator with set permissions that can be assigned to multiple Team Administrators in your Push account.
Instead of managing each Administrators separate permissions, you will now only manage the Role! This will save your team and overall business time, as when changes are made to a Role, it applies to all Administrators who have that Role!
You will still have the ability to create permissions that are specific to one Administrator. These team members will be listed as Custom under the new column Roles in the Administrator page.
In the future, if you decide that this Custom Administrators permissions will work great for more team members, you will have the ability to create this as a Role!
Additional Information
Administrator Roles assists clients with standardizing permissions across different roles in their account. You will be able to create different Roles and manage them in a single space rather than across all Administrators individually.
Please note, that Administrator Roles are only available to Super Administrators.
The Administrator Roles feature is currently available on the Premium Subscription.
If you do not have this feature and are interested, please feel free to contact Push Support at support@pushoperations.com to connect you with the relevant team.
