Additional Information
The icons marked next to each picture taken by an employee, indicate the following:
- Unhappy Face = Not a Match
- Happy Face = Facial Match
Make sure that the employees eyes are visible and clear. It helps to look directly at the camera, move closer, remove glasses, or tuck hair behind the ears.
Facial recognition still works with a face-covering, if the mask is on Push can still detect the proper face via eyes. However you can run into issues if the employee is NOT looking at the camera, have their eyes closed, or eyes covered with hair or glasses.
If someone is newly hired we recommend they lower their face mask for the first 6 photos to ensure future recognition.
If you are still running into issues ask employees to quickly lower their masks for the photo.
Facial recognition is accurate even if the employee is making a silly face, wearing glasses, grows facial hair, or wearing a mask. If you're still running into issues with a match it may be that:
- The baseline 6 photos are incorrect
- The person is turned away, fully covering their features or eyes
- The person is not in the image or too far away
- There has been a dramatic facial change
- Blurry photos/dark photos
