Answer
Alarms are used to notify Super and Team Administrators about certain information relating to their Push account through SMS text or email.
You can set reminders in Push for the following items:
Activating Employees: set a notification when an employee is activated from the Pending Employee List. Note, this is only available if you have the HR-Add On as it relates to digital employee onboarding.
- Select the recipients list (the people to notify) by email
Clocks Need Approvals Digest: Set a reminder for a list of unapproved clocks that need approval. Note that this is only available if your employees are clocking in and out from one of our Push apps (Time or Employee). Managers will receive a notification via their Push Manager App.
- Select the time you wish for the reminder to be sent in your push app
CPP Activation: Set a reminder to adjust the CPP under Tax Information for those who turn 18 based on the date of birth inputted in the employee profile.
- Enter the # of notice days and the recipients list (the people to notify)
Daily Labor Report: Set a reminder of when the Report should be sent
- Input the name of the Alarm, how often you are notified of the Report, select what Departments you wish to monitor, # of days in the past, and the recipient's list (the people to notify) by email
Daily Logbook Summary: Set a notification to be sent to you to review your daily logbook. Note that the Logbook is only available on the Pro and Premium Subscriptions.
- Select the time you wish for the alarm to be sent and the recipients list (the people to notify) by email
Deactivating Employees: Set a notification when an employee is deactivated from the Active or On Leave Employee List. Note this is only available if you have the HR-Add On as it relates to digital employee onboarding.
- Select the recipients list (the people to notify) by email
Employee Anniversary: Set a reminder of when the employee joined the business based on the hire date inputted in the employee profile.
- Enter the # of notice days you want us to notify you, employee status (active or inactive), and the recipient's list (the people to notify) by email
Employee Attributes Dates: Set a reminder for information relating to default information and unique answers based on the setup of Employee Attributes.
- Probationary Date (Default): select the Positions to monitor, input the # of Notice Days that is the total amount of your probationary days (i.e. input 90 days, and the alarm will be triggered 90 days after the Hire Date), and the recipients list (the people to notify) by email or SMS
- Date of Hire (Default): select the Positions to monitor, input the # of Notice Days that you wish to be notified of, and the recipients list (the people to notify) by email or SMS
- Birthday (Default): select the Positions to monitor, input the # of Notice Days before the employee's birthday, and the recipients list (the people to notify) by email or SMS
Employee Break Violation: Set a warning notification when an employee will be in violation or in violation due to breaks for Break Compliance. Note, Violation Breaks is only available on the Premium Subscription.
- Select the Positions which Positions to monitor, Statuses (Warning, Danger, Violation) based on Breaks Setup, and the recipients list (the people to notify) by email or SMS
Employees Did Not Clock In: Set a warning notification when an employee does not clock into their scheduled shift. Note that this is based on a published scheduled shift and the auto-approver set under Clock Settings.
- Select the Positions which Positions to monitor, the # of minutes since the scheduled shift has started, and the recipients list (the people to notify) by email or SMS
Employee Work Permit Expiration: Set a notification when an employee's work permit has expired based on the information inputted under an employee profile. Note that Work Permit Tracking is only available if you have the HR-Add On and in Canada.
- Enter the # of notice days, employee status (active or inactive), and the recipient's list (the people to notify)
HR Task Completion: Set a notification when an employee completes an HR Task. Note that HR Tasks: Forms are only available if you have the HR-Add On.
- Select which Positions to monitor, the Task impacted, and the recipients list (the people to notify) by email
HR Tasks: Set a reminder for specific employees who have a task due date coming up.
- Select which Positions to monitor, the # of notice days, and the recipients list (the people to notify) by email
Labour vs Sales Threshold: Set a warning notification when the cost of Labour goes over Sales in the Company. Note that the sales amount will be dependent if you have a POS integration or manually inputting sales.
- Select the period start & end time, the threshold %, which positions and revenue centres to monitor, and the recipient's list (the people to notify) to email
New Applicant on Job Postings: Set a notification when a candidate completes a job posting application. Note that this is only available if you have the HR-Add On related to Applicant Tracking.
- Select which Job Postings to monitor and the recipients list (the people to notify) by email
Onboarding Completion: Set a notification when a new hire completes their onboarding. Note that this is only available if you have the HR Add-On related to digital employee onboarding.
- Select which Positions to monitor and the recipients list (the people to notify) by email
Overtime: Set a warning notification when employees reach an overtime structure. Note that this is only available if your employees clock in and out from one of our Push apps.
- Select which Positions to monitor, # of employees' work hours elapsed (as a marker for OT), and the recipient's list (the people to notify) by email
Pay Date Reminder: Set a reminder when your payday is coming up for the upcoming pay period. Note that this is only available if you have the Payroll Add-On.
- Select the time you wish for the alarm to be sent, # of days prior to the notice (we recommend setting Notice Days to 5 days from the payday), and the recipients list (the people to notify) by email or SMS
Survey Disqualifier Response: Set a warning notification when an employee answers an answer that disqualifies them from starting their shift. Note that this is only available if your employees are clocking in and out from one of our Push apps (Time or Employee) and if the account is on the Pro and Premium Subscriptions.
- Select which Positions to monitor, select the specific Survey, and the recipients list (the people to notify) by email or SMS
Weekly Overtime: Set a warning notification if employees exceed their regular weekly hours. Note that this is only available if your employees are clocking in and out from one of our Push apps.
- Select which Positions to monitor, the maximum # of hours allowed (as a marker of OT hours) and the recipient's list (the people to notify) by email.
Additional Information
Administrators must enter a phone number in their Administrative profile to receive an SMS text message.
Please note that only Super Administrators and Team Administrators with permission to Setup Alarms can manage Alarms.
