How To Accept / Reject A Shift Swap Request On The Push Employee App

Goal

  • How to accept a Shift Swap Request from another employee 

Environment:

  • Push Web App

Process:

Pickup the Shift Swap under My Scheduler

  1. Open the Push Employee App and enter your login credentials using your Email Address and Password associated with your Push account
  2. On the top left corner click the three stripes
  3. In the drop-down menu, click My Schedule 
  4. Click the Arrow icon that corresponds with a shift that indicates Swap Pending User Approval
  5. In the pop up, click either Accept or Decline Swap 

Pickup the Shift Swap under Shift Swaps

  1. Open the Push Employee App and enter your login credentials using your Email Address and Password associated with your Push account
  2. On the top left corner click the three stripes
  3. In the drop-down menu, click Shift Swaps
  4. Click Swap Requests
  5. Click the Circle icon that corresponds with the Shift Swap Request
  6. At the bottom of the screen, click either Accept or Cancel

Additional Information

Once you accept a Shift Swap, you will see the status change under the Shift to Swap Pending Manager Approval. The Shift Swap will need to be approved by an Administrator as the final step before your Scheduler is updated to reflect the swap. Once approved, both you and the other employee you have swapped shifts with, will receive a notification.

NOTE: At any given time, either the person who initiated the shift release or the receiver can cancel the release – even if it’s pending manager approval.
