Yes, you are able to override activating a Pending Employee if they have not yet completed their Onboarding. This may occur if the employee is required to start work immediately or your company does not require all the forms to be completed prior to activation.
In order to adjust the onboarding to be a requirement, you will need to uncheck Employees Require Admin Review under Onboarding Settings.
The reason that you are not able to activate a Pending Employee Profile is due to them not completing all the Forms, they did not click Submit/Complete on the last page, or there are Forms that require Admin Review.
Under Admin Status in the Pending Employee List, it will show whether or not the employee has completed their onboarding. In Progress, indicates the employee has not yet completed. Admin Review, indicates the employee has completed and is waiting on an Administrator to review and activate.
We recommend that you review the Status in the Pending Employee List and review what has been completed before activating.
Please note, that only Super Administrators have access to Onboarding Settings.
