How To Add A Custom Hours Structure To Employee Positions

Goal

  • How to update an employees position to include a Custom Hours Structure

Environment:

  • Push Web App

Process:

  1. Click the Employees tab
  2. Select the appropriate Employee List on the left hand navigation bar: ActivePendingInactive, or On Leave List
  3. Search for the specific employee and under the Edit column click the pencil icon to the left of the employees name
  4. Click Salary on the left hand navigation bar or scroll and click Add/Update/Salary Position
  5. On the right hand side, click Edit Position
  6. Under the Hours Structure column, click the drop down arrow and choose the desired Hours Structure
  7. Once done, click Update Position

Additional Information

If you have added a Custom Hours Structure in the middle of the pay period, you will need to contact Push Support to re-sync the clocks, to ensure that any hours for the updated position reflect the new Custom Hours Structure. We are only able to resync the clocks to reflect the Hours Structure for payrolls that have not been processed/approved.

If you do not see a Custom Hours Structure that matches your needs, please contact Push Support. 

Please note, that only Super Administrators and Team Administrators with permissions to view/update Employee Positions will be able to assign an Hours Structure to an employee's position.
