⚡ What is the Indeed Integration?

The Indeed integration makes hiring easier by connecting PUSH and Indeed. As long as you have an Indeed account with the necessary subscription, creating and publishing a Job Posting in PUSH will automatically sync it to Indeed, helping you discover top talent without extra work.

📌 | Note: This integration only works in one direction. Job Postings created directly in Indeed will not sync back to the PUSH platform. A Job Posting must be created using PUSH's Applicant Tracking feature.

The Indeed integration is part of our Applicant Tracking feature and is available on either our Signature or Supreme plans with the HR Add-On.

Who can manage the Indeed integration?

• Super Administrators: Full access to set up Job Postings, and to view and update Indeed integration settings under ATS Settings.
• Team Administrators: Can create, view, and update Job Postings if the relevant View/Update/Create Job Posting permissions are enabled, and can manage the Enable Indeed Apply setting if their permissions include the ability to update ATS Settings. If you are unable to access, please confirm your permissions with a Super Administrator.

Choosing How Candidates Apply From Indeed

Before publishing any Job Postings, it's worth deciding how you want Candidates to experience the application process. With the Indeed integration, you have two ways in which candidates can complete an application when they click "Apply":

• Option 1: When the Candidate clicks "Apply" on Indeed, it'll open a new tab and redirect them to PUSH's page to complete their application.

• Option 2: When the Candidate clicks "Apply" on Indeed, it'll keep them within Indeed, and they'll complete the application there. Anything they've set up with Indeed, like auto-filling information or pre-uploaded files, will remain.

This can be changed later on if you're unsure, but it defaults to redirecting Candidates back to PUSH's application page.

1. Click the Applicant Tracking tab.
2. On the left-hand navigation bar, click ATS Settings.
3. Click Integrations.
4. Check or uncheck the box next to Enable Indeed Apply.
   1. Checked: Candidates complete their applications directly on Indeed, and their details sync back to your ATS (Option 2).
   2. Unchecked: Candidates are redirected to your published ATS Job Posting to complete their application (option 1).
5. Once done, click Save.
6. In the pop-up titled Save Successful, click Confirm, and the details have been updated!

📌 | Note: However a Candidate applies, they'll appear within your Candidate Dashboard tagged with a Source: Indeed if they were redirected to your ATS to apply, or Indeed Apply if they completed the application in Indeed and it synced back into your ATS.

Setting Up the Indeed Integration

To post a job on Indeed, the Job Posting must be created and published in your PUSH account using the Applicant Tracking feature. Postings created directly in Indeed won't sync back to PUSH.

There's no Connect button or login step for Indeed. Instead, once a Job Posting is published in PUSH, it automatically syncs to Indeed and is matched to your Indeed employer account using your company name.

 Confirming a few details before publishing your first posting helps ensure it appears on Indeed without delay.

1. Confirm you have an active Indeed employer account.
   💡 | Tip: Not sure whether your Indeed account type supports job postings? Contact Indeed Support to confirm your account details before publishing.
2. Check that your company name in Indeed matches your company name in PUSH exactly, including spacing, punctuation, and abbreviations (e.g., Joe's Pizza Ltd. vs. Joes Pizza).
   💡 | Tip: You can find your company name in PUSH in the top right-hand corner of your account, or by opening Company Setup.
3. Create and publish a Job Posting from your ATS.
4. Once published, the integration will automatically begin syncing the posting over to Indeed!
   📌 | Note: Any changes made to a Job Posting sync between PUSH and Indeed every 5 minutes, so updates should reflect on both sides shortly after you save them.

Once an application is received, their information will be added as a Candidate profile on your Candidate Dashboard, where you can manage their application like any other Candidate profile.

Troubleshooting the Indeed Integration

If you've published a Job Posting in PUSH but can't find it on Indeed, work through the checks below before contacting Support. Most issues can be resolved with one of these steps.

If the posting still isn't showing after these checks, contact the PUSH Support Team using the details below. Every published Job Posting has an internal source ID, which our team can share with you for Indeed to investigate on their end. Including everything upfront helps avoid extra back-and-forth.

• Include: Your company name as it appears in Push and on Indeed, the Job Posting title, the date it was published, and your Indeed Source Name, if known.

A Job Posting Is Showing Under the Wrong Indeed Account

This can happen when PUSH can't match your Indeed account by company name, usually because the names are formatted differently on each platform. To fix it, send your Indeed Source Name to our Support Team, and they can update it to match in Push.

To find your Source Name:

1. Log in to your Indeed employer account.
2. Look for the Company Name field, usually in your account settings or on the employer landing page.
3. Visit your company's public page on Indeed to confirm the displayed name matches.

Q: If I create a Job Posting directly in Indeed, will it show up in my ATS? 
A: No. The Indeed integration only syncs Job Postings in one direction: from PUSH to Indeed. For a posting to appear on Indeed, it must first be created and published in your ATS.

Q: How do I know which Job Postings are performing well on Indeed? 
A: Check the Source column on your Candidate Dashboard. Candidates who applied through Indeed will be tagged as either Indeed or Indeed Apply, depending on whether you have enabled the Indeed Apply setting. Q: How often does information sync between Push and Indeed? 
A: Every 5 minutes. Any changes made to a Job Posting in Push — or applications received from Indeed — will sync between the two platforms shortly thereafter.

Q: If I edit a Job Posting in PUSH, will it update automatically on Indeed?
A: Yes. The integration syncs every few minutes, so you don't need to do anything on your end. Any changes you make in PUSH will automatically carry over to Indeed.

Q: Can I have more than one Job Posting live on Indeed at a time?
A: Yes. Once the integration is set up, it runs in the background and syncs every few minutes. Any Job Posting you create, edit, or remove in PUSH is reflected on Indeed automatically.

Q: How do I disable the Indeed integration? 
A: You can't turn it off directly within your account. Please contact the Push Support Team, and they'll take care of it for you.

Q: Do I need to connect or log in to my Indeed account from Push?
A: No. There's no separate connection step. PUSH matches your Job Postings to your Indeed employer account using your company name, so the key step is making sure the names match. For more details, refer to the Setting Up the Indeed Integration section of this article.

Q: How long does it take for a Job Posting to appear on Indeed?
A: PUSH sends postings to Indeed within about 5 minutes of publishing. Indeed may take additional time, typically, to review and display the posting. If it hasn't appeared after that, refer to the Troubleshooting the Indeed Integration section of this article.
