Additional Information
The break roster is a view into the current day allowing managers or employees to track their breaks.
As soon as an employee clocks in for the day, they will be automatically included in the Break Roster and will calculate the proper break ranges. This serves as a real time view into the shift breaks.
The Break Roster is connected to the hours inputted under Breaks Setup that determines when an employee should go for their break and when they are in violation.
Clients will have the ability to see different colours and different employees on the roster, each colour or placement has a meaning. This is the Roster Legend:
Emoji | Color | Priority | What does it Mean? |
---|---|---|---|
Red = |
#1 - Top of the Roster means this break needs to go first. | Last Warning: You need to have this break occur otherwise there will be a violation. | |
Yellow = |
#2 - This employee is next up to break. | First Warning: Break is Approaching, go soon. | |
Green = |
#3 - This employee has clocked in but no action required. |
All is well, no action to be taken yet. |
|
Grey = |
#4 - This person is on their break or done their shift with no violations. | Grey happy face means there are no violations or the employee is on break. | |
Grey = |
#5 - This break has triggered a violation but it's already taken place. | Grey unhappy face means a violation has occurred, since nothing can be actioned it moves to the bottom of the list. |
