How To Map Push General Ledger Codes & Xero/QuickBooks Account Codes

Goal

  • How To Input General Ledger Codes and Xero Account Codes through Push

Environment:

  • Push Web App

Process:

Under the Reports tab 

  1. Click the Reports tab 
  2. Under Report Type, click the drop-down menu and select Journal Entries
  3. Under Pay Run Date, click the drop-down menu and select the specific pay period 
  4. Click Generate, and the page will refresh to the Journal Entry 
  5. On the left-hand navigation bar, click General Ledger Codes
  6. On the top right side, click the Folder icon 
  7. In the drop-down menu, click Fetch Accounts and Class From Xero/Quick Books
  8. The page will refresh to Xero/Quickbooks, click Allow Access or input your login details
  9. The page will refresh back to the General Ledger Codes
  10. Now you will be able to map Push GL codes to Xero/Quickbooks Account codes 
  11. Once done, scroll to the bottom and click Save/Update Codes

Under the Payroll tab 

  1. Click the Payroll tab 
  2. On the left-hand navigation bar, click Payrun History 
  3. Under Reports, click Journal that corresponds with the specific pay period 
  4. The page will refresh to the specific Journal Entry 
  5. On the left-hand navigation bar, click General Ledger Codes
  6. On the top right side, click the Folder icon 
  7. In the drop-down menu, click Fetch Accounts and Class From Xero/Quick Books
  8. The page will refresh to Xero/Quickbooks, click Allow Access or input your login details
  9. The page will refresh back to the General Ledger Codes
  10. Now you will be able to map Push GL codes to Xero/Quickbooks Account codes 
  11. Once done, scroll to the bottom and click Save/Update Codes

Additional Information

Please note: Super Administrators or Team Administrators with certain permissions are allowed to enter the codes.
