How To Copy & Paste Shifts In The Scheduler

Goal

  • How to copy a specific shift multiple times in the Scheduler 

Environment:

  • Push Web App

Process:

Copy the Shift in Push:

  1. Click the Scheduler tab
  2. On the left hand navigation bar, click Weekly Schedule 
  3. Navigate to the Week that has been completed and you wish to copy
  4. Hover over the specific shift and click the Right Facing Arrow icon and select Copy Shift 
  5. Move your curser to the designated employee/day click the Right Facing Arrow icon and select Paste Shift

Copy the Shift on keyboard:

  1. Click the Scheduler tab
  2. On the left hand navigation bar, click Weekly Schedule 
  3. Navigate to the Week that has been completed and you wish to copy
  4. Click the specific shift and select Ctrl - C on your keyboard
  5. Under the designated employee/day click the box, when the Dotted Rectangle Outline appears, select Ctrl - V on your keyboard

Additional Information

To help expedite scheduling you can now copy shifts day to day, or schedules from week-to-week.

If there are multiple shifts in a cell that you would like to copy, select the bigger Right Facing Arrow icon.

To paste a shift, hover over the shift cell where you would like to place the copied shift, and again select the options icon. You will then have the function to paste the shift.

Depending on your keyboard, you may need to press Control C (Windows) or Command C (Mac) to copy and paste shifts.  

Please note, that only Super Administrators and Team Administrators with permissions to View/Update the Scheduler will be able to make adjustments.
