How To Add Tips To The Payroll From Tip Automation

Goal

  • How to add employee's tip pool to the payroll
  • How to make sure employees have tips added to the payroll 

Environment:

  • Push Web App

Process:

  1. Click Reports at the top of the screen 
  2. From the Report Type dropdown, select the Tip Pool Report (By Payrun)
  3. Select the pay run from the Pay Run Date you are adding the tips for
  4. Click Generate 
  5. After you review the tip amounts, click Approve

Additional Information

After you approve the tips, this will create the Earnings for the payroll, which you can review under Earnings and Deductions. These Earnings will be labelled as follows: Profit Center Name: Tips and Gratuities. Only Super Administrators or Team Administrators with the ability to Run Payroll can access Earnings and Deductions.
