Do Shifts On The Schedule Need To Be Created With A Scheduler Preset To Calculate Wage Cost ?

Answer

No, you do not need to create Schedule Presets in the Scheduler in order for wage costs to be calculated. 

Additional Information

The Schedule Presets is used for labour to be forecasted. Regardless of how you choose to assign shifts in the Scheduler, this will not impact the calculation of the wage costs. Once the schedule is published, you will be able to view the wage costs by filtering Costs in the Scheduler and in the Labour Cost and Sales Report under the column Budgeted Hours and Budgeted Amounts. 

Please note that only Super Administrators and Team Administrators with permissions to view/update the Scheduler and view the Labour Cost and Sales Report will be able to view the wage costs.
