Do You Need To Create Departments For Labour Forecasting?

• To labour forecast do I need to setup Departments?

Answer

Yes, in your Push account you will need to create Departments and assign Positions to those Departments in order to utilize Push's forecasting feature. 

For reporting purposes, the department is required in order for the report to consolidate the labour forecast costs to be able to forecast labour.

Additional Information

Remember that in order for the Labour Forecast to work, you will need to use Schedule Presets in the Scheduler to assign shifts to employees.  

Please note that Super Administrators and Team Administrators with permissions to Setup Departments will be able to create/edit Departments.
