Do You Need To Create Departments For Labour Forecasting?

• To labour forecast, do I need to set up Departments?

Answer

Yes, in your Push account, you will need to create Departments and assign Positions to those Departments in order to utilize Push's forecasting feature. 

For reporting purposes, the department is required to consolidate the labour forecast costs in order to forecast labour.

Additional Information

Remember that to make the Labour Forecast work, you must use Schedule Presets in the Scheduler to assign shifts to employees.  

Please note that Super Administrators and Team Administrators with permissions to Setup Departments will be able to create/edit Departments.
