How to Customize a Profit Center via Report Codes

If you want to see a more customized and detailed breakdown of the Sales Totals inside of a Profit center, or you want to compare only specific kinds of report codes against labor (ie. Food Sales vs. BOH) there are three recommended options (which all add up to the Total Net Sales):

1. Individual Report Code Gross Sales - Total Promos:
   
   This option adds up individual categories' gross sales totals (ie. Food Gross Sales + Bar Gross Sales + etc.) and subtracts the total promos for the given time period. This is useful if you only need to keep track of Promos at a general level.
   
   
2. Individual Report Code Gross Sales - Individual Promos:
   
   This option adds up individual categories' gross sales totals (ie. Food Gross Sales + Bar Gross Sales + etc.) and subtracts that categories' promos as well. This is useful if you want to see a more detailed breakdown of promos by category.
   
   
3. Individual Report Code Net Sales:
   
   This option simply adds up individual categories' net sales totals (ie. Food Net Sales + Bar Net Sales + etc.). Promo line items are not visible. This is useful for at-a-glance reporting if you are used to a report which does not display promos.
