How To Generate The Breaks Report

Goal

  • How to see break violations in a report
  • How to see what employees have violations for not taking breaks in a report format
  • How to export employee break violations into excel

Environment:

  • Push Web App

Process:

  1. Click the Reports tab 
  2. Under Report type, click the drop down menu and select Breaks Report
  3. Under Department, click the white box to select the appropriate Department(s) or leave blank to select all 
  4. Under Position, click the white box to select the appropriate Position(s) or leave blank to select all 
  5. Under Start Date, click the white box to input the specific date 
  6. Under End Date, click the white box to input the specific date
  7. Under Employees, click the white box to select the specific Employee(s) or leave blank to select all 
  8. Once done, click Generate

Additional Information

For California Break Compliance, the Breaks Report becomes available and you will be able to see all break information, including:

  • Violation
  • Waivers
  • Links to the Waivers
  • Any comments or overrides

It is important to know where to look for important break reporting in order to track how many violations have occurred, both for payment and for improving internal practice. There are three ways you can report on breaks:

  • Breaks Report
  • Clock Hours Report
  • Employee Statistics

Please note, only Super Administrators or Team Administrators with permission to Breaks Report will be able to generate this report.
