Environment:
- Push Web App
Process:
- Click the Employees tab
- On the left hand navigation bar, click Employee Settings
- Under Employee Settings, click Employee Profile Editing
- Under Settings, check or uncheck the box that corresponds with Employees Can Edit Their Profiles
- If Employees Can Edit Their Profiles is checked, the following settings will appear, check or uncheck the boxes that correspond with the specific details employees can update:
- Name
- SIN/SSN
- Phone Numbers
- Address
- Emergency Contacts
- Banking Info
- Once completed, click Save Settings and the page will refresh with the latest updates!
Additional Information
Employee Profile Editing allows Administrators to customize which specific details employees can update, ensuring that employee profiles contain the most accurate and up-to-date information. Employees will be able to edit the fields in each selected section on both the web and the Push Employee mobile app.
Depending on your business needs, you may choose to limit which details employees can update and allow only Administrators to make changes.
Here are explanations of what each setting entails:
- Name: When enabled, employees can edit their legal name and preferred name on both web and mobile.
- SIN/SSN: When enabled, employees can edit their SIN/SSN on both web and mobile. For U.S. accounts, employees cannot update their SSN if they’ve been paid in the previous quarter, even if this setting is toggled on. This restriction ensures compliance with tax reporting requirements.
- Email: When enabled, employees can edit their email on both web and mobile.
- Phone Numbers: When enabled, employees can edit their primary and alternate phone numbers on both web and mobile.
- Address: When enabled, employees can edit all address fields on both web and mobile.
- Emergency Contacts: When enabled, employees can edit all emergency contacts on both web and mobile.
- Banking Info: When enabled, employees can edit all banking information on the web. On mobile, they can only edit existing direct deposit information.
Important Notes:
- Only Super Administrators have access to Employee Profile Editing Settings
