How To Send A Message As An Administrator

Environment:

  • Push Web App

Process:

Create new message:

  1. Click the Employees tab 
  2. On the left hand navigation bar, click Messages
  3. To send a message, click Compose
  4. Under Delivery, if applicable select either Email or SMS Text Message
  5. Under Files, if applicable select the Plus icon to add a document
  6. Under Department, if applicable click the Whitebox to select from the list
  7. Under Positions, if applicable click the Whitebox to select from the list
  8. Under Administrators, click the Whitebox and select the appropriate Manager(s)
  9. Under Employees. click the Whitebox and select the appropriate employee(s)
  10. Under Subject, click the Whitebox and input the title of the Message
  11. Click the Main Whitebox to input the body of the Message
  12. Once you’ve finished your message, click Send

Reply to message:

  1. Click the Employees tab 
  2. On the left hand navigation bar, click Messages
  3. Under From, click the Title of the specific Message you wish to reply to
  4. Click either Reply, Reply All, or Forward
  5. Under Delivery, if applicable select either Email or SMS Text Message
  6. Under Department, if applicable click the Whitebox to select from the list
  7. Under Positions, this will populate based on the original Sender click the Whitebox to select from the list if required
  8. Under Administrators, this will populate based on the original Sender click the Whitebox to select from the list if required
  9. Under Employees. this will populate based on the original Sender click the Whitebox to select from the list if required
  10. Under Subject, this will populate based on the original Sender click the Whitebox to input the title of the Message
  11. Click the Main Whitebox to input the body of the Message
  12. Once you’ve finished your message, click Send

Additional Information

In the message Centre, employees and Administrators can send messages to each other and to the message board. 

You will receive an email notification from Push for any replies to messages you have sent or new messages you have been included in. These emails are just notifications of the message, you will need to reply to the message in Push.

The Message Board can be viewed and posted by everyone. 

If you select email as the delivery method, the message will be sent via the email that the sender has on Push, which will also be visible to the recipient. If you select SMS, the recipient can only reply via the Message center. If they reply to the text, the original sender will not receive the message.
