Environment:
- Push Web App

- Click Scheduler Settings on the left hand navigation bar
- Under Minimum Shift Swap / Release Notice, input a number that represents how many day(s) prior does the employee need to request a shift swap/release for a scheduled shift(s)
- Once completed, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Update Setting
Additional Information
Depending on the Company's policy or need of coverage will determine what is the minimum day(s) inputted. You can input the day(s) as low as zero, if you want to allow employees to be able to request swap/release shifts a minute before the scheduled shift.
An employee will not have the option to release a shift or swap with another employee depending on the number of day(s) set. In the Push Employee app, there will be no arrow icon next to the shift they are attempting to release or swap.
We recommend communicating with your employees that a Shift Swap/Release needs to be approved by an Administrator first before not attending a shift. The Shift will remain on the employees Scheduler until approved by an Administrator, once approved, the employees Scheduler will be updated and they will receive a notification.
Please note that only Super Administrators will be able to update the minimum days off that staff needs to give notice when swapping/releasing shifts.
