- How to adjust the Timesheet Settings
Environment:
- Push Web App
Process:
- Click the Timesheets tab.
- Click Timesheet Settings on the left-hand navigation bar.
- If you would like to update the day the week starts, select the Week Start Day drop-down menu to choose the day.
- If you would like to enable notification approval, check the box labelled Approval Notification.
- If you would like to update the permissions of Timesheets for employees, under Employee Timesheet Permission select the drop-down menu that corresponds with the Position(s) and select either: None, View, or View/Update.
- Once completed, click Update Settings.
Additional Information
Timesheets are used to manually record employee hours worked in the platform, typically by companies that do not use the clock-in and clock-out feature. Timesheet Settings allow administrators to control which employees or positions can view or enter these hours.
This feature is only available to companies that do not use our clock-in feature, as Timesheets and Clock Approvals cannot be used simultaneously.
When Timesheets are enabled, employees cannot clock in or out through the app, and no Clock History will be created. Timesheets can only be accessed through the web app and are not available on the Employee or Manager apps.
Only Super Administrators can adjust Timesheet Settings.
