How to Create An Alias for A Revenue Center

Goal

  • How to add more information about a Revenue Center

Environment:

  • Push Web App

Process:

Add a new Revenue Center:

  1. Click the Sales tab 
  2. On the left hand navigation bar, click Revenue Centers
  3. Click Add a New Revenue Center
  4. Under Name, input the title of the Revenue Center
  5. Under Alias, input a different title of the Revenue Center if applicable
  6. Once done, click Save

Edit a Revenue Center:

  1. Click the Sales tab 
  2. On the left hand navigation bar, click Revenue Centers
  3. Under Edit, click the Pencil icon that corresponds with the Revenue Center
  4. Under Name, adjust the title of the Revenue Center
  5. Under Alias, adjust a different title of the Revenue Center if applicable
  6. Once done, click Save

Additional Information

An Alias for a Revenue Center can assist you with identifying the different sales. For example, if you have a Back Patio that has two different sections. You can create two different Revenue Centers for Back Patio, but the Aliases will be different to assist you with tracking sales. 

Alternatively, you can also use an Alias to add address information if you are a location layered account and are tracking sales. 

If your Push account has not been integrated with your POS system, you will need to set up Revenue Centers to input your sales to assist you with breaking up the different types of sales (i.e. (Lounge, Bar, Dining, Patio, Liquor, etc.).

Once the Revenue Center has been added, you can go back to the Sales & Labor tab, found on the left hand navigation bar, to enter your sales.

Depending on the POS system will determine if Revenue Centers created in the POS will automatically sync into Push. Push currently integrate with the following POS systems.

If you wish to integrate with your POS system or if you do not see your POS system on the list. Please contact Push Support at support@pushoperations.com. Please include in your email the name of the POS System and the type of information you are interested in syncing into Push.
