How To Auto-Generate House Shifts (Auto-Scheduling With Labour Guides) [Beta]

Goal

• How to tell the system to generate shifts based on the information inputted under Labour Guides
• How to automatically create House Shifts to be auto-assigned to employees in the Scheduler

Environment:

• Push Web App

Process:

1. Click the Scheduler tab
2. On the left-hand navigation bar, click Weekly Schedule
3. Click the Right or Left facing Arrows to move to the relevant week
4. On the right side, click Filter, and in the pop-up under Positions, click the box and select the relevant Position(s) you wish the system to schedule for or leave blank to select all 
5. Once done, click Close
6. On the right side, click Options and in the drop-down menu, click Generate House Shifts 
7. Once completed, in the House Shift Generator pop-up, click Generate Shifts
8. The page will refresh and list all of the House Shifts generated based on the Labour Guides, Schedule Presets, and Weekly Availability submitted by employees!

Additional Information

This is the first step of utilizing Auto Scheduling with Labour Guides by allowing the system to create shifts automatically based on the setup of Labour Guides and Schedule Presets.

 In the pop-up that allows users to Generate Shifts, the Position(s) that will have shifts created will be listed. If you only want the system to generate Shifts for specific Positions, we recommend filtering the Schedule by Position(s). This can be done by completing Step 4.
