β‘ What are BI Prebuilt Dashboards?
When you first open the BI Tool, you'll see a list of dashboards already built and ready to use, no setup required. These are designed to give you immediate insight into common areas of your business, such as labour, payroll, sales, and hiring, without having to build anything from scratch.
A dashboard brings together data from one or more reports (also called visualizations), allowing you to view key metrics, trends, and details in one place. The prebuilt BI dashboards work the same way; they're just already configured for you.
π | Note: This article is a glossary of the available dashboards with explanations and visual examples for each.Β
π When Should I Use a BI Prebuilt Dashboard?
Here are some common scenarios where a BI prebuilt dashboard can help:
- You need a quick answer, not a project: If you just need to check on payroll, labour costs, or hiring activity right now, a BI prebuilt dashboard gets you there without any setup.
- You want a starting point: Use a BI prebuilt dashboard as-is, or duplicate it and customize the copy to fit your team's needs.
- You need something highly specific: If none of the BI prebuilt dashboards cover the exact combination of data you need, then building a custom dashboard from scratch, using your own visualizations, makes more sense.
π Access required
The BI Insights feature is only available with the BI Insights Add-On and can be purchased exclusively by accounts on the Supreme package.
Β If you do not have the BI Insights feature and are interested in learning more, please reach out to our PUSH Support Team, who can connect you with the right team member.
π | Note: Some BI prebuilt dashboards may not be available if they're connected to a feature you don't currently use. This could be due to your subscription or add-on. For example, you may not see the Engagement Surveys Dashboard if your account doesn't utilize that feature (e.g. requires the Supreme plan + Engagement Add-On).
Who can access BI prebuilt dashboards?

Access to the Enterprise Dashboard is granted only if explicitly added; it's not provided by default. If you believe you should have access, please consult with your team. Frequently Asked Questions About BI Prebuilt Dashboards
Have questions about the BI prebuilt dashboards in BI Insights? Whether you're wondering if you can customize one, why one isn't showing data, or how they relate to custom dashboards, this section provides quick answers to help you get the most out of them.
Q: Can I customize a BI prebuilt dashboard?Β
A: Yes. You can duplicate a BI prebuilt dashboard and customize the copy, or edit it directly if you have edit access. For step-by-step instructions, refer to our Building & Navigating a Custom Dashboard article.
Q: Why isn't a BI prebuilt dashboard showing any data?Β
A: You may need to adjust the filtering (e.g. from this month to all year) in the dashboard, as it depends on the applied filters and whether there is active data at that point in time.Β
Also, some BI prebuilt dashboards, like the ATS, Engagement Surveys, and Leave Management Dashboards, only display data if your organization uses that specific feature or has the required add-on. If a dashboard appears empty, check whether it depends on a feature or add-on you don't currently have.
