Purpose
This article explains how to submit requests for T4 or W-2 amendments in your Push account. This updated process ensures requests are assigned to the appropriate team immediately, reducing delays in the process
Environment:
- Push Web App
When and Why Amendments Are Needed
- Incorrect SIN Numbers: Employee SINs/SSNs are incorrect
- Missed Benefits Adjustments: Employer-provided benefits (e.g., dental) were not correctly reported.
- Payroll Data Errors: Incorrect earnings, deductions, or year-to-date adjustments.
Process:
- Log into your Push Account
- Click the Chat bubble in the bottom right-hand side

Type“I need to amend a T4 or W-2”

You will be prompted to fill out a form with the following information:

Company Name

Employee’s First and Last Name

Details of Incorrect Information (e.g., SIN, earnings, benefits).

Corrected Data

Once you’ve completed the form, click Submit

How long will the amendment process take?
Amendments are processed as quickly as possible. You’ll receive an email confirmation once the amendment is completed.
What if I make a mistake in the ChatMail form?
Contact support through ChatMail immediately with the correct details, and they’ll update your ticket.
