Why Would I Process An Off Run?

Answer

An Off Run can be used:

  • to process a final pay to an employee without waiting for the regular payroll run
  • to process missing pay to an employee without waiting for the next regular payroll run
  • to process additional/retroactive earnings outside of the regular payroll run
  • to process core product vacation balance adjustments instantly
  • to process Leave Management balance adjustments instantly
  • to re-record an employee's pay if you had to reverse a paystub from a previous pay period where the employee was paid 

Additional Information

In the situation when an employee is waiting for a rejected payment notice as they did not receive their funds (i.e. incorrect direct deposit details or closed their bank account) from Push Operations, we do not recommend that users process another off-run to pay the employee. If this is done, the employee will have a duplicate record of earnings received and will impact their T4/W-2. 

Team Administrators will only be able to run payroll once they are granted the Run Payroll permission.
