If you have entered incorrect amount into the Additional Tax Deductions window under the employee profile, and the employee had a big amount of tax portion deducted; You can reverse the incorrect tax deductions on the next regular pay run.
- Go to Run Payroll tab
- On the left hand side click on the Earnings/Deductions.
- Select the preset Income Tax Regular, Frequency and Date of the next payrun.
- Under the Employee Information, you will need to input a negative amount to reduce the previous tax deductions.
- Submit Earnings/Deductions
