- How to add a new Department
Environment:
- Push Web App
Process:
- In the top right-hand corner, click the Company Name
- In the drop-down menu, click Company Setup
- On the left-hand navigation bar, click Departments
- Under Actions, click the plus icon to create a new Department
- Under Department Name, input the name of your Department
- Under Department Number, input a code that is used internally if applicable
- Once completed, click Save
Additional Information
Once Departments are created, we recommend assigning Positions to your Departments. Departments will assist you with grouping Employees by Position, and this will be reflected on the scheduler and within reports.
Although the Department Number is optional, we recommend that users utilize this section for any internal codes or references used by the team.
Please note that only Super Administrators and Team Administrators with permission to Set up Departments can make changes to Departments.
