How To Send A Picture From My Photo Gallery In Chat

Goal

  • How to access my photo gallery to send a picture in Chat

Environment:

  • Push Employee App or Push Manager App

Process:

Brand new Direct Message:

  1. Open the Push Employee or Manager App and enter your login credentials using your Email Address and Password associated with your Push account
  2. On the top left corner, tap the three stripes
  3. In the drop-down menu, tap Chat
  4. In the top right-hand corner, tap the Pencil icon
  5. Under Create Chat: To, tap Type A Name and input the specific name of another Employee(s) or scroll and tap the Circle icon that corresponds with the specific Employee(s)
  6. Once done, tap Chatting
  7. Tap Send A Message, and input the content of your message if applicable
  8. On the left side, tap the Paper Clip icon 
  9. In the pop-up, tap the Picture Icon 
  10. In the pop-up, tap the existing picture from your device
  11. Once done, tap the right-facing arrow icon to send or tap the X icon to delete
  12. The page will refresh back to the Chat/Channel 

Existing Message: 

  1. Open the Push Employee or Manager App and enter your login credentials using your Email Address and Password associated with your Push account
  2. On the top left corner, tap the three stripes
  3. In the drop-down menu, tap Chat
  4. Under Chat, tap the specific Channel or Employee that is waiting for a response 
  5. Tap Send A Message, and input the content of your message if applicable
  6. On the left side, tap the Paper Clip icon 
  7. In the pop-up, tap the Picture Icon 
  8. In the pop-up, tap the existing picture from your device
  9. Once done, tap the right-facing arrow icon to send or tap the X icon to delete
  10. The page will refresh back to the Chat/Channel

Easily access your device's photo gallery to send photos from the Push Employee app via Chat! Note that you will be required to share your gallery with the app in order to complete the steps in this article. 

Note that Chat is exclusive to our Premium Subscription, and Super Administrators will be able to enable this feature from Company Setup: Chat. If you do not see Chat listed, your team may not have access to this feature, or it has not been enabled.
